Fireside Foundry

I love pizza and I eat it at lots of different places. This is my favorite thin, flat crust pizza in the twin cities. I get the fireside special extra crispy and when it is brought out you can pick up the slice and it doesn't bend. That's how I judge a great crust. And it is loaded with toppings on the special so it's very impressive that you can do that. All the food is great and very affordable. Great service and management. I keep coming back here all the time and I'm never disappointed.

Stopped in with my wife to meet a friend for a quick lunch. Parking outside is limited to a small lot. Inside has an industrial decor, that really looks nice. Metal and wood. Service was good, exactly what you'd expect. Food was good too. We had the Chili and the French Onion soup. Overall, it was a great spot but nothing above and beyond for a 5 star rating.

The bread in our appetizer had black charred bottom. The fish from “fish and chips” also had black burn marks on the bottom. The beer on tap is either Luke warm, or their bartender uses glass right out of the dw without cooling it off before pour. Not the worst experience but cannot imagine eating somewhere that’s $20/plate when the food is literally all coming out burnt. Server really wasn’t that interested in discussing the menu or the quality of the food once it came out either…great furniture and lighting. If ambience is your only care, Fireside Foundry is the place to be.

Great little place that you would probably drive by. We ate lunch there and loved the special which was buy a large pizza for the price of a small pizza. Nice artisan quality pizzas with a thin crust and fresh ingredients. We added a salad that was fresh and delicious. Good service, and even though they were busy we did not have to wait too long. Friendly atmosphere. It was too cold to dine on the outside patio area, but it look like a nice comfortable place to enjoy some drink and good food. Full bar. Clean bathrooms.

Horrible service. Average food & cocktails. Zero atmosphere. My husband and I were there for dinner early this evening 8/19/23 and sat outside on the patio. I went inside to ask for something. Twice. Zero results. It seems that there is a lack of management and organization amongst the staff. I wonder if there was even a manager (or anyone in charge) present. The service person did not even ask if I wanted another drink though my glass was clearly empty. But a less spendy bill $$ = lesser tip, and we did not feel like spending more money there this evening. It's a shame as we have been customers for a while and have been there several times. It seems that customer satisfaction comes last now; however, so we may need to rethink going back again. Luckily, there are plenty of good places all around with better food and drinks but more importantly FAR better service and MUCH better ambiance where you can actually hear the music rather than only the automobiles zipping by as you sit waiting with an empty glass being ignored by rude employees.
